Mieko has donated money for candy that is given out to children as prizes at the Screamin' 5K. She participated (and won her age group!) in 2010. Meiko encourages all runners, regardless of skill level, age, or experience, to sign up for the Screamin' 5K. Read on to learn a little more about Meiko:

Do you regularly participate in 5K races?
No, the Screamin' 5K was my first race.

What is your exercise of choice?
I walk with my dog every morning!

What is your favorite thing about the Screamin' 5K?
It supports the local fire department.

What is your favorite scary movie?
Jaws!

If you were a candy bar, what would you be and why?
M&M's because it seems like kids like them and I like kids. I have one grandkid!
